We are seeking submissions for a contemporary photography exhibition that explores the theme of “Signs of Impermanence“.

From the erosion of landscapes and architecture to the effects of aging and use on objects and people, this exhibition will showcase the ways in which time leaves its mark on the world around us.

We are looking for photography or artworks that captures the beauty and poetry of the worn and weathered, as well as the ways in which these changes reflect the passage of time and the cycles of life. We welcome a wide range of interpretations and approaches, from documentary and fine art photography to more experimental and conceptual work.

Photographers, artists, authors, and designers from anywhere in the world can submit their work, without any limitations on age, approach, or technique.

Whether it is a single photo, a series of photos, a drawing, or a mixed-media piece, anything that can be printed on paper is acceptable for submission.
The transitory nature of consciousness, life, and reality is tied to a metaphysical kind of forgetting, which can be seen in the way that time leaves its mark on the world around us. From the erosion of landscapes and architecture to the effects of aging and use on objects and people, the worn and weathered aspects of the world are a reminder of the passage of time and the cycles of life. These changes may be subtle and delicate, but they are a powerful testament to the fleeting nature of existence and the ways in which everything is constantly in flux.

The Exhibition will take place in April and the exhibition will last 30 days.

Jinny Street Gallery is an outdoor art gallery located in the center of  Jingumae 2-chome. Close to Harajuku ( Shibuya-ku ), renowned for colorful street art and youth fashion.
The 42 small streetlight cases become exhibition spaces for the works, creating a new meaning of existence.

These cases were first built in the area in the 1990s and have since been transformed into art galleries under the name Jinny Street Gallery.
