‘As long as the Sun lasts’ was born from a period in my life when my days were marked by moments of emptiness alternating with uncontrollable emotionality.
While studying comets, I discovered that these celestial bodies also alternate between phases of total stasis and moments of peak activity depending on their proximity to the Sun, transforming from cold asteroids into bright objects with their own comas and tails.
Thus, I sought out comets in my everyday reality, searching for a connection between myself and them, relating archival images, photographs, and scientific documentation, constructing a narrative on multiple temporal and physical levels.
